Sweep Organisers
It's easy to set-up and manage your sweep:
- Click any of the Register links
anywhere on My Cup Sweep and complete your details. You will receive an email
containing your Organiser login details.
- After you Login for the first time you will be prompted to choose the number of
Sweeps by $ value that you want to run and also the prize money weighting for the
Emirates Melbourne Cup runners that finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Last. You will receive
another email containing the details of the Sweeps you set up here. Contained in
that email will be your Sweep Link which you will send to friends, family
or workmates to make selections in your Sweeps.
- Your friends, family or workmates will then click on that link in the email they
receive from you to complete their details and select the number of horses they
wish to have in your Sweep. (Note - the responsibility of collecting and distributing
monies from Players is the Organisers responsibility)
- My Cup Sweep will randomly allocate horse(s) to Players depending on how many
they wish to select in your Sweep.
- If you choose to run multiple Sweeps, My Cup Sweep will automatically open
new Sweeps as your friends fill them up with selections. For example - if you select
to run 3 $2 Sweeps, My Cup Sweep will open the first Sweep right away and once
all 24 runners have been selected it will close that Sweep and automatically open
the second $2 Sweep and so on into the third $2 Sweep.
- All Sweeps not completely filled by the jump of the Emirates Melbourne Cup at approximately
3pm (AEDT) on Tuesday 3rd November 2009 will be cancelled.
- Go to Sweep management to view reports by Sweep and Player to see how your
Sweeps are going.
- All Players will receive a Results Announcement email to notify everyone
of the Emirates Melbourne Cup winner and the prize winners for each of your Sweeps
shortly after the conclusion of the race on Tuesday 3rd November 2009
Sweep Players
It's even easier to participate in a My Cup Sweep Sweep!
- When you receive an email from your Sweep Organiser, click the link contained in
it, complete your details in the form, select the number of horses that you wish
to have in the Sweep and click Submit.
- My Cup Sweep will randomly allocate horse(s) to you and send you an email with
some details on your runner including what silks the jockey is wearing, some form
and betting prices from the TAB.
- You can also view other people in your Sweep, the number of horses they have selected
and the number of horses remaining to be selected.
You can even win some great prizes!

Remember: All Sweeps not completely filled by the jump of the Emirates Melbourne
Cup at approximately 3pm (AEDT) on Tuesday 3rd November 2009 will be cancelled.
